Output jobs in a variety of formats at any physical location.
As we've said, the input formats supported include pretty much everything you can think of; so do the outputs. A workflow can be configured to do one or more of the following:
- Nothing; this allows a workflow to be driven manually by one or more administrators.
- Output to pdf. A workflow knows all about colour spaces and resolutions and can be configured to produce a pdf suitable for web use, e-mail, bubble jet, digital print or litho.
- E-mail. Though Printflo's main function is to produce print, a workflow can easily be configure to generate e-mails not only to confirm orders, proof approvals etc, but as an end product. We recently built a workflow for large estate agent to re-purpose property detail web pages into glossy pdfs which are e-mailed to the prospective purchaser.
- Jobs can be sent anywhere either before or after imposition; this includes e-mail, ftp, copying straight into a press's input queue etc.
